Privacy Policy

The short version

Utah Shower & Bath is a free service that matches homeowners with remodeling contractors. When you request quotes, we share your contact and project details with up to 3 partner contractors — that sharing is the product, and under some state laws it is considered a "sale" of personal information. We tell you this before you submit, we only do it with your consent, and you can opt out or make privacy requests any time at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Information we collect

• Quote requests: name, phone, email, ZIP code, and project details (type, timeline, budget, homeownership).
• Consent records: the consent text you agreed to, timestamp, page URL, IP address, browser user-agent, and (when enabled) a TrustedForm certificate.
• Usage data: pages visited and campaign parameters (UTM, click IDs), captured for your browser session only. We do not use localStorage.
• Calls: when you call one of our tracking numbers, we record the number you dialed, the time, and how the call connected — and the call itself may be monitored or recorded (see Call recording below).

How we use it

• To match you with up to 3 partner contractors and let them contact you about your project.
• To operate, measure, and improve the service (analytics, fraud prevention, rate limiting).
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

Call recording

Some phone numbers on this site are tracking numbers that route your call to us and help us see which pages lead to calls. Calls to these numbers — and calls a partner contractor makes to you after a match — may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and to document consent. When a call is being recorded, you will hear a brief notice at the start of the call. If you'd prefer not to be recorded, you can hang up and reach us instead by email at privacy@utahshowerandbath.com. Partner contractors record under their own policies; ask the caller if you have questions about theirs.

Who we share it with ("sale" disclosure)

Quote requests are shared with the partner contractors named in the consent language at submission (currently: Wasatch Bath Works, Beehive Shower Pros, Red Rock Bath Co.). We may be compensated for these introductions. We also use service providers (hosting, database, email, CRM, analytics, consent certification) bound by contract to process data only on our behalf. We do not share your information with data brokers.

Your rights (Utah UCPA and similar laws)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, delete, or correct your personal information, to obtain a copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or of targeted advertising. Exercise any of these at our privacy request page or by emailing privacy@utahshowerandbath.com. We respond within the time your state's law requires and never discriminate for exercising rights.

Retention

Lead and consent records are retained for as long as needed to operate the service and to document TCPA consent (typically five years), then deleted or anonymized.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with reputable cloud providers. No internet service can promise perfect security, but access is limited to personnel who need it.

Children

This service is for adults arranging home renovations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
